If you have a Galaxy Digital account, adult volunteers only complete a Conservation Volunteer Agreement once for all volunteer activities at all PA-DCNR locations within a calendar year. You will be prompted to sign the agreement after responding to an opportunity for the first time that year. The agreement will be kept on file electronically in our system. You will be qualified for future volunteer opportunities until December 31st when you will be asked to complete another one for the new calendar year. 

If you had previously responded to an opportunity and need to complete your agreement, or your agreement has lapsed, go to your profile and choose Qualifications on the menu.  Under Incomplete Qualifications click the link to finish the process. 

If you do not have a Galaxy Digital account, adult volunteers must complete the paper version of our Conservation Volunteer Agreement each time they volunteer at a PA-DCNR location.  You can download the Conservation Volunteer Agreement here.  You won't be able to respond online to any opportunity without an account.  Please notify the location's volunteer coordinator by email that you plan to attend and please bring the completed agreement with you. 

Minor children under 13, or those without an online account, must have a parent/guardian complete a Conservation Volunteer Agreement for each PA-DCNR activity. Download the Conservation Volunteer Agreement form here. Please email/contact the volunteer coordinator with your plans, and bring one completed agreement per child. Minors 13–17 with an online account may sign electronically, but a parent/guardian must also sign. During registration, the parent/guardian’s name, email, and phone are required; they will then receive an email to complete the agreement. Registration is not final until both signatures are submitted.

• Minor children with volunteer accounts (age 13 to 17 only) may not be able to respond to certain online opportunities with a waiver qualification. Examples of waiver qualifications are: 1) background clearances; and 2) the adult verification waiver (18+).
• Please remember that minors age 15 years and younger must have a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult present while volunteering. Minors ages 16 and 17 may work without a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult present upon approval from the location's volunteer coordinator.
