VOLUNTEER POSITION
Volunteer Position Title: Presque Isle State Park Annual Spring Clean Up
Site: Presque Isle State Park
Position Description:
- Help keep Presque Isle healthy and clean by picking up litter along the beaches, trails, and bayside shoreline.
- Bags and Gloves are provided but if you want to bring your own that is welcomed
- Dress appropriate for the weather
- Put the bags of litter in a dumpster or leave the bag along the road for maintenance to pick up
Time Requirements:
- April 25, 2026
- Location to Check in is 12 Peninsula Dr. Erie Pa 16505
- Check in at the Rotary Pavilion from 8:00 am to 10:00 am
- Optional picnic at the Rotary from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Sponsored by the S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie and the Presque Isle Partnership
Skills/Training:
- Be able to pick up litter from the ground
- Ability to walk on sandy and uneven surfaces
Uniform:
- Dress for the weather
- Wear gloves, sunscreen, bring drinking water, and protect yourself from ticks
