We will be going through some areas in the park that have old tree tubes that needs to be cleaned up. Areas are muddy and overgrown, so participants should dress in clothing that can get dirty and protects skin, as well as shoes that are okay to get muddy or wet. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves. Bug spray will be offered.
There may also be opportunity to work on mulching around some of our recent tree tube plantings. Mulch will need to be transported from a pile via wheelbarrow and added around the base of the plantings. Tools will be provided by the park.
We will meet by Riverside Barn to sign in and go over tasks.
