Each campground varies in the number of camp sites, ranging from 33 at our smallest campground and 106 at our largest. There are no full hook up Host sites available; all sites except Deerfield are electric only with water spigots nearby. Volunteers will serve as a “live-in” host and are expected to perform a variety of tasks as outlined in the principal duties and responsibilities. Camp Hosts must display a friendly and courteous attitude, be able to communicate effectively with the public and keep campers informed, enjoy working with people, and preform moderate physical labor. Due to the popularity of our campground host program and the need to meet various park operational goals, we strive to ensure that all host positions are filled during the camping season. Therefore, potential hosts may be asked to move to different campground areas if staying for consecutive 4-week periods. Campground Host(s) will be required to provide their own camping unit, and any necessary camping equipment and personal items.
