It's our Second-Annual Earth Day Celebration! Come on out to the Marina to meet our volunteers, learn about projects and opportunities, and participate in activities and demonstrations--including solar observation with the Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association!

Want to jump in and help on the day? Sign up for a litter pickup! This cleanup will be going on throughout the time of the expo, so you can help out for a few minutes or for the whole morning!

Litter pickup will begin at the Marina Visitor Center. See Arlo at Friends of Nockamixon State Park table to check in and receive safety briefing, location assignment, bags, high-vis vest, and gloves. A limited number of trash grabbers will be available, or bring your own.

There will be a variety of projects suitable for all age groups, so bring out the entire family! Projects will include, but are not limited to, painting, landscaping, and invasives removal. Please bring clothes you can get dirty, work gloves if possible and appropriate footwear.  

After a morning of volunteering, participants are invited to a grilled lunch courtesy of the Friends of Pine Grove  Furnace. Volunteers staying for lunch are welcome to bring a covered dish to share.
