- Work on your own schedule
- Hand tools only (no power tools)
- Perform basic erosion control
- Repair trail where needed and maintain trail sides
- Pick-up litter
- Inspect the condition of trail and trail signs
- Removal of invasive species of plants (confirm with park staff)
- Clear trail of debris and brush back encroaching vegetation (hand tools only)
- Refer issues such as downed trees and severe overgrowth to park staff.
- Report issues requiring law enforcement such as resource damage and/or vandalism to park staff.

North Logging can be accessed by Knobsville Road trail or Horseshoe trail. Doe trail can be accessed by lot #5 or North Logging Road trail.
