Join us on Saturday, August 15 from 9 AM to 12 PM to continue construction of the Hearth Tender Trail by digging, clearing, and tamping ground to create a quality sustainable trail tread!
What to Bring:
· Hand tools will be provided but if you have a favorite tool, you are welcome to bring it.
· We’ll be using hoes, pick mattocks, cutter mattocks, rakes, wheelbarrows, and shovels.
· Wear appropriate clothing and boots/sneakers.
· Bring eye protection and gloves.
· Bring snacks and plenty of water.
Directions & Parking: The work site is located on Old Railroad Bed Rd. (GPS Coordinates: 40.03546, -77.28477) about a mile past the Pole Steeple Trail Parking Lot (https://goo.gl/maps/WJBLfXhEiXKTpFQx6). Be sure to sign up so we can contact you directly if there is a change in plans! Rain or shine; but event may be canceled in the event of severe weather.
