This is going to be a big project on the West Watershed Trail to improve the trail tread's drainage and erosion problems. We will be installing limestone, thick honeycomb mat, geomat fabric, sandstone and more water bars at 2-3 locations that have been identified as problem areas. We'll also be putting in underground drainage pipe at one or two locations.
Volunteers will meet at the Kings Gap Hollow Use Area at 9am. Please wear sturdy shoes/boots, have water and dress for the weather. Kings Gap EEC will provide extra water bottles and Gatorade.
